Alkaline vs. Acidic

Most vitamin C supplements utilize ascorbic acid, which is an intermediate form of vitamin C. The human body rejects the acidity of ascorbate acids.
Fern C being alkaline, with a pH range of 7.5-7.8 protects the mucosal lining of the stomach. Fern Vitamin C formulation is based on the original formula created by 1954 Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling, Phd. in association with Alfred Libby, Phd. Is recognized as one of the world’s foremost authorities on therapeutic nutrition.
When we are acidic, we are more prone to chronic disease and cancer.
When we are alkaline, we are able to stay away from disease and cancer.

Note: A high number on pH Level indicates alkalinity while a low number indicates acidity.

pH TEST

A test has been conducted to determine the pH level of FERN-C vs. the widely used vitamin C, ascorbic acid. The results are as follows:

FERN-C (glass 1)

FERN-C, is easily dissolved in water and has no residue. The water remains clear.

The pH paper produced a bluish color indicating a pH level between 7.5-7.8, identifying it as alkaline.

ASCORBIC ACID (glass 2)

Ascorbic acid does not dissolve easily in water and produces a lot of residue.

The pH paper produced a yellowish color indicating a pH level between 2.5-3.0, identifying it as acidic.
